Next to learning and watching, the best way to get better at improv is through practice. Designed as a supplement to a class (not a replacement), Improv practice group sessions reinforce ideas taught in your class in previous weeks and expose you to a variety of instructors from PHIT’s staff throughout each session. Each practice group includes warm-ups and scenework exercises that aim to strengthen and work the core improv concepts laid out in our core improv and sketch programs.
Prerequisite: Enrollment or completion of the practice group level you want to attend. For example, if you are enrolled in Improv 401 then you can attend the 302, 202 or 102 practice groups. If you are enrolled in Improv 301 then you can attend the 302, 202 or 102 practice groups.
Cost: $5 with a current session student pass. $20 without a current session student pass. Payment will only be accepted online.
