Matt Catanzano

Matt just finished a 4 year run as a Mainstage performer, writer, director, and teacher at Improv Asylum in Boston, MA. He spent that time performing improv & sketch comedy shows 5 nights a week as well as directing his own successful shows at the theater. He has also been a teacher in their Training Center for the past 5 years. Outside of Improv Asylum, Matt is the co-creator (with Richie Moriarty) of “Simply Unemployable”. Together they write, direct, and star in one-off sketches as well as web series. They also produce their own live shows under the Simply Unemployable name. His acting claim to fame is as the Easy-Tech guy in the Staples in-store videos. He also doesn’t understand when it’s appropriate to call something a “claim to fame.”
