Gab Bottoni

Improviser on PHIT house team Fjord (directed by Adam Siry), and the theater’s self-appointed ambassador for all things #cutelyfe, Gab is a writer, comedian, and cute garbage gal who can be found all over the internet @obiwanbottoni.

Gab studied at PHIT under talented improvisers and instructors such as Jess Ross (UCBLA), Nick Gillette, and Mike Marbach, and has had the honor of continuing her education with workshops taught by the likes of Susan Messing (iO Chicago/Annoyance Theater).

As a proud member of Philly’s independent comedy scene, Gab helps produce a local comedy showcase with The Dungeon Comedy Collective, plays with her fellow meatbags on Skeletons Etc. (directed by Rob Cutler), is approximately one third of the trio Dirty Divas (led by PHIT’s Executive Director, Greg Maughan), and was an original cast member of the Wit-Out Award nominated short-run show, Stay Dead!: An Improvised Horror Comedy (directed by Mike Marbach). With these projects, she’s traveled to perform at theaters in New York (UCBEast), Baltimore (Charm City Comedy Project), and Richmond (Coalition Theater).

When she’s not making comedy with hilarious cuties, Gab can be found waving around her BFA in screenwriting and busting her butt in the restaurant industry in order to fund her delusional comedy dreams. She’s also creating a web series for Philly’s very own Lunchbox City Productions, so stay tuned for that. And again, peep her internet presence @obiwanbottoni. #follow4follow
