Scott Adsit (instructor)

Scott Adsit lives in NYC where he has appeared in many shows at the UCB Theater, Adsit & Gausas, Let’s Have A Ball, Asssscat, Gravid Water and currently, John & Scott with John Lutz. In LA, he appeared in Adsit & Pasquesi, Two Person, The Armando Show, Adsit & Gee and Adsit & Dassie, among others. Scott won Chicago’s Joseph Jefferson award for Best Actor his work on the Mainstage of the Second City Theater. and was one of the driving forces behind such groundbreaking revues as Pinata Full of Bees and Paradigm Lost (which was documented in the PBS documentary Second to None). He spent seven seasons as Pete Hornberger on the NBC comedy 30 Rock and served as writer, director, actor and storyboard artist for the Adult Swim stop-motion animation shows Moral Orel and Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole. This fall, he will appear in the films St. Vincent alongside Bill Murray and Melissa McCarthy, and Disney’s Big Hero 6 in which he voices the character Baymax.
