This conservatory class will be for an improvised Shakespeare show, directed by Steve Kleinedler. In 2005, Steve directed The Robert Cycle, an improvised show in the style of Shakespeare that ran weekly for a full summer. He has taught Shakespearean improv workshops in Providence; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Chicago; Pittsburgh; Detroit; Philadelphia; and Baltimore. Performers will learn how to become proficient in Shakespearean soliloquies and dialog; the rhythm of speech; status play; wordplay, including metaphor and simile manipulation; courtly dances; and much more!
Prerequisite: Improv 401
