DUOFEST: Adsit & Eveleth

Saturday, June 8, 2013, 9:02 PM

Duofest is back, and our fourth year promises to be the biggest yet. The best improv duos from around the country and the world will descend upon Philadelphia, PA from June 6th-9th, 2013. Over 4 days, we’ll present 30+ groups that have just 2 members.

Scott Adsit (NBC’s 30 Rock, Moral Orel) and Jet Eveleth (The Reckoning, I Live Next Door to Horses, Ted and Melanie), both long time Chicago improvisors, began playing together at the People’s Improv Theatre in New York City. They have been described as “two improv stalwarts with a knack for the absurd. They aim for slower, character-driven work that pays close attention to detail. Expect lovable characters and more than a little weirdness.”

“Dazzling…compelling…outrageous and unexpected. Watching them slowly discover their characters was like biting into a Tootsie Roll Pop and discovering that awesome center. Everyone deserves to see improv this good.” -Timeout Chicago
