Each course culminates in an exploration and showing of individual monologues or scenes with partners from class. interested in more than just making people laugh, PHIT is excited to offer dramatic acting classes.

FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS:
FREE Intro to Acting (2-HOUR WORKSHOP)
An Introduction To Acting
In this class, students will explore basic acting skills fundamental to performance. Some concepts to be examined are action, objectives, tactics, and script analysis. This class will culminate in an exploration and showing of two contrasting monologues. Viewing of theatrical performances in Philadelphia followed by a discussion will also be a part of this class.
8 WEEK CLASSES INCLUDE
|ACTING 101 WITH AMY FREAR
Time: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m
This class will build on the skills learned in Acting 101 through more focused two person scene work.

Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m
